PC and Laptop Repair By Courier.
Send your PC or Laptop to us by courier...
We offer all our In Store Services for Laptops & PC's sent to us by courier. Our high speed turnaround makes repair by courier very convenient. Each computer is fully tested after a repair to ensure that the system is running perfect. We also operate a strict No Fix - No Fee policy.
Just follow these steps:
- Choose a service required from our In Store Services page.
- Call Techstar on 0141 564 9999 or 07900800120 to obtain a quote for the repair or service you require.
- Make a £12.00 payment with a credit or debit card to Techstar, for the collection.
- Techstar will arrange a suitable time for collection of your PC or Laptop.
- Fill in the downloadable form (Click Here)
- Put your PC or Laptop inside a box, preferably with some bubble wrap or protective foam at the sides. If you are sending a Laptop then you may place the laptop inside a carry case, then inside a box. Remember to send Laptop chargers only.
- Enclose your downloaded form inside the box and seal. Hand over to courier.
We shall contact you as soon as we receive your computer. On completion of the repair we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for your computer to be delivered back to you.
This service saves you driving to a repair shop, queuing and then having to repeat the same process, upon collection. |

How will your computer be collected?
The courier company will arrange to collect at a suitable time, from your home or work. They will collect your computer and deliver this direct to Techstar. From your call to the courier, they could be ready to collect from you within a few hours. |
How long will it take to return your computer?
Depending on the time at which the computer was collected from you, we expect to receive your computer next day.
We have a priority for all courier repairs and try to have the work carried out and your computer returned to you the same day where possible! This means that at best your computer will be back with you within 48 hours.
If your work takes more time or requires parts on order then this will obviously increase the turnaround time. |
Peace of mind
Your parcel is signed for upon collection and is traceable online at all times. Your laptop or PC is insured for up to £500 by Royal Mail while in transit. If you wish to increase the level of cover above £500, then the cost is £1 per extra £100 of cover. Please ask Techstar staff for more details if required. |
Receiving your computer...
When your goods arrive you should either inspect them while the courier waits or more practically write "unchecked" next to your signature. If you don't sign "unchecked" it defaults to "received in good condition" even though you will not have checked the item. Any shortages or damages must be reported to us within 24 hours. |
